DANIELA HOLGATE | Attorney
My practice focuses on probate litigation as well as guardianship, conservatorship, and estate matters. I also assist elders and their families with elder abuse restraining orders (EPPDAPA) and elder financial abuse matters. I strive to use my talents to help my clients during stressful and complicated family situations. I pride myself on being energetic and passionate in my approach to problem-solving.
I began my career in the legal profession as a Certified Paralegal working on complex litigation cases. During law school, I diversified my experience by providing advocacy services to college students, externing with a Chief Probate Judge and clerking for another firm specializing in elder law and fiduciary litigation.
I enjoy being active in my community by using my life experience and legal knowledge to assist others. I regularly mentor students considering a career in the legal profession. I am a volunteer attorney with Legal Aid Service’s Domestic Violence Project. In 2019, I was appointed to the Pro Bono Committee for the Young Lawyers Section of the Multnomah Bar Association.
I am originally from the San Francisco Bay Area and received my undergraduate degree from San Francisco State University. On a whim, I took a train ride to Portland, and fell in love with the hospitality of Oregonians, Powell’s City of Books and the Columbia River Gorge.
When I am not in the office, I enjoy live music, exploring Portland’s culinary scene, hiking with my dog, Shiloh, and reading a good book.
