My practice at Fitzwater Law focuses on assisting families and individuals with various estate planning, probate, and trust administration matters, including the preparation and execution of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance healthcare directives. I have also assisted individuals as they work to fulfill their fiduciary responsibilities, whether as a trustee, personal representative, or agent under power of attorney.

In representing small and family businesses, I’ve guided clients through the formation, development, succession, and sale of their businesses. In addition to advising business clients generally with respect to developing and protecting their intellectual property rights, I have shepherded a variety of trade and service marks through the USPTO federal trademark registration process.

I value the personal connections I have with my clients, and pride myself in taking the time to listen and understand their situation.  I believe in the importance of being responsive and getting the details right, to provide peace of mind as I help my clients address their legal needs.

Growing up in New England and the Midwest, I have lived in and enjoyed the stunning beauty of the Pacific Northwest for over 20 years.  When I’m not at work, you might find me hiking, cross-country skiing, reading, listening to music, or playing a game with my wife and two sons.
